In Ellicott City, there is a restaurant,
Shannon’s, where my family and I like to visit.
This small, homely pub started in 1982 preserves a relaxed, personal, and
carefree attitude in an increasingly fast-paced environment. The restaurant isn't too well known; it generally serves an elderly crowd that sits at the
wooden bar to talk about their day. But there’s something nice about having a
warm home-style bowl of French Onion Soup after a long day. I hope that this
restaurant will be around so that even as life gets busy, people will be
reminded to take it easy.

Your description of the restaraunt really helped me picture what it was like and want to go there. I like how you said it was important because it maintains a relaxed environment whilst everything else is fast paced. It would be better if you added a little more history about the place.
ReplyDeleteHi Priyanka. I loved how you set the mood and feel of the restuarant. I may have to go there to try the French Onion Soup.. one of my favs. I would have liked to read about how you and your family discovered the restaurant and why it initially caught your attention.
ReplyDeleteI liked the descriptiveness of this post. You did a good job presenting a mental image of this place. I think a little more on why this is important to you could have took this a little further. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks delicious! Nice history and overall description of the place.
